LITERACY- We will continueour second unit in Literacy by Design. We will discuss word families, contractions, compound subjects and predicates, and we will do the last 5 words in our vocabulary journals. We will also discuss constructed response questions and how to answer them. Our reading groups will continue, and we will also talk about 8 sentence paragraphs, and continue writing in our journals.



MATH - We will begin unit 2 in Everyday Math which is about adding and subtracting whole numbers.



SCIENCE/SOCIAL STUDIES -We will continue our unit on communities.
